We are now holding a Sunday service on the third Sunday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at the Ballard-Alki Odd Fellows Lodge, 1706 NW Market Street,
Seattle, WA 98107.
We now offer Shikan "Calmness and Insight" meditation on the last Saturday of most months, usually from 8:00 a.m. to noon. This type
of meditation is based on the teachings of Chih'i, also known as Master Tien Tai. Please check the calendar or contact the temple to verify the schedule.

month. Members are encouraged to eat vegetarian meals on those days and to fast after
the noon meal. Solar calendar days are marked on the calendars below. If you have medical problems, please consult your physician before fasting.
